What part of speech substitutes for noun?
ইংরেজি গ্রামারের নিয়ম অনুযায়ী, যে শব্দ Noun বা বিশেষ্যের পরিবর্তে বসে তাকে Pronoun বা সর্বনাম বলা হয়।
২. যেমন: "Rahim is a good boy. He goes to school." এখানে 'Rahim' (Noun) এর পরিবর্তে 'He' (Pronoun) ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
৩. অন্যান্য অপশনগুলোর কাজ ভিন্ন: Verb কাজ করা বোঝায়, Conjunction শব্দ বা বাক্যকে যুক্ত করে এবং Noun নিজে একটি নাম।

যে word দ্বারা কোন কিছুর নাম প্রকাশ করা হয় তাকেই noun বলে । আম

Concrete Noun: যে Noun এর বাহ্যিক বা দৈহিক অবস্থিতি আছে এবং যাকে ইন্দ্রিয়ের দ্বারা উপলব্ধি করা যায় তাকে Concrete Noun বলে। যেমন: boy, book ইত্যাদি।
Noun কে প্রধানত পাঁচ ভাগে ভাগ করা হয়। যথা-

- Common Noun
- Collective Noun
- Material Noun
- Abstract Noun
